Greg Astley – Director of Government Affairs, ORLA
Greg has over twenty years of experience in media, marketing, strategic communications, association management and political consulting. In partnership with our government affairs team and chief lobbyist, Greg works to strengthen the prominence of ORLA’s advocacy program and foster broader engagement of both restaurant and lodging members on local, regional, and statewide hospitality issues. John Brondello – Time Equipment Co.
John Brondello III is the owner of the oldest time and attendance solution provider in the Pacific Northwest, Time Equipment Company. John literally grew up in the industry and brings decades of hands on experience with time and attendance tracking. He began his career at age 5 with repairing mechanical clocks and shipping time cards. By age 13, John was making sales calls and closing new business daily. As computers made their way into business, Time Equipment Company embraced the new technology and started providing automated time labor management solutions.
Hannah Kirchner – Senior Loyalty Expert, Perka, A First Data Company
Hannah has an expansive background in digital advertising, marketing and consumer loyalty. In her most recent position at Perka Inc., a First Data Company, she has spent six years as subject matter expert in the area of small business consumer loyalty, particularly for the hospitality vertical.
Allie Kloster – Social media
Allison Kloster is a social media consultant, content strategist and public speaker. An avid social media mave and growing leader in the every changing world of digital marketing, Allsion genuninely enjoys connecting others using the power of social media! Allison has a deep understanding of social media marketing and has worked with businesses both large and small, to help them grow their online presence. She specializes in helping businesses creat a map for success through planning ,organization, and effective implementation. Allsion is the host the Social Media Revamp podcast, featuring social media tips and updates on the latest platforms.
Joe McCully – Professor, Lane Community College
Joe McCully has operated restaurants in New York, Colorado, Florida, and New Mexico. He started working in his parent’s restaurant as a dishwasher at age twelve. A seasoned professional with over 50 years restaurant experience, Joe has done it all. His flagship restaurant, McCully’s Rooftop, in Bonita Springs, Florida, generated annual sales of 3 million plus. For 17 years McCully’s Rooftop was a profitable 250 seat restaurant. His other experiences included F&B positions at resorts on Sanibel Island, Florida as well as general manager positions in Colorado Springs and New York. Joe has been a full-time faculty member at Lane Community College in Eugene for 14 years. He was instrumental in developing and creating the current core of the hospitality management program. He teaches Hospitality Leadership, Hospitality Financials, Restaurant Operations II, and Menu Management, among others. An accomplished journalist, Joe writes frequent articles about food and wine trends for regional publications in Oregon & Florida. Paul Paz – Waitersworld
Paz is a career professional waiter plying his craft in Oregon for 37+-years (and still counting). He’s co-authored two books, the latest being: The Professional Server: A Training Manual, 2nd edition, 2012 (Pearson Education / Prentice Hall). Paz has been featured in Bloomberg Business News, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Oregon Business magazine and Portland Business Journal He has been interviewed by ABC 20-20 and Al Jazeera News. He has presented all over the USA in a variety of local and national conferences for restaurant, hospitality, hotel, beer, golf, retail clients. He has also accrued an impressive list of WaitersWorld consulting clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.
Chad White – Chef & Restaurateur
“Borderless Dining” – a concept that removes barriers and involves thinking outside the box while utilizing the entire product and eliminating waste. Taking inspiration from everything around you including travel, research, and development. Chad was named “The Seafood Maverick” after being recognized as one of San Diego’s best seafood chefs at Sea Rocket Bistro.
John Whitted – VP, Product Consulting, Perka, A First Data Company
John Whitted is the current Vice President of Product Consulting for Perka Inc., a First Data Company. Prior to joining First Data, John had several years of experience as a restaurant manager for Applebee’s. John has a strong background in start-up companies, product sales, marketing and customer success development.

Dale Willerton is The Lease Coach – America’s #1 Authority on leasing commercial space for restaurant tenants. As a senior Lease Consultant, Willerton works with independent and multi-unit restaurant owners, franchisees and their franchisors across North America providing restaurant tenants with coaching, consulting, new & lease renewal negotiations and mid-term rent reductions. The Lease Coach has exclusively worked for restaurant tenants since 1993 and has successfully negotiated over 3000 tenant leases.
Willerton is co-author of the book Negotiating Commercial Leases & Renewals FOR DUMMIES and speaks at major franchise shows and conventions.
